Once you have purchased the cards, this is an ideal program to start with.

Preparatory exercises

  • Make yourself comfortable with the cards in front of you.
  • Start by focusing on your body, how you sit and how you experience your body.
  • Then pay attention to your breathing, find out how you breathe and how your chest moves.
  • Take deep breath – count to 4 on inhalation and 8 on exhalation. Repeat three times.

When working with the program, it is good to keep the following in mind.

  • Preferably choose the same time of day to establish a routine e.g. before or after eating breakfast – or just when it suits you.
  • Aim to stay with the cards for at least 10 minutes a day.
  • Shuffle the cards calmly and connect inwards, ie. look at how you feel and how you experience a place and a moment right now.
  • Give yourself time to connect with the day and your challenges.
  • Draw cards and flip them over.
  • Turn the card over and look at the picture, the colours and the concept.
  • Look up the card in the booklet (English text) or on the website. https://www.kickonmind.com/spilin (Icelandic text) and read about the card.
  • Connect your interpretation of the card with your well-being and see how it reflects on your tasks and the day ahead.
  • Take a look at the colours in the game and what they stand for.
  • Take this energy with you into the day.

Day 1

Start by going through the preparation exercises.

After shuffling the cards for a while, scroll through the cards and sort all the Champions (cards with the black frame) from the deck.

Arrange them in the correct number sequence 1-7.

Take Champion No. 1.1. Look it up in the brochure (English) or here on the website (Icelandic).

Read the text, imagine the red colour and connect with your inner well-being. Take this energy / message with you into the day.

Days 2-7

The same routine as before day 1 – read about one Champion per day in the correct number order – next is Champion No. 2.2.

You have now read about all the Champions and know what each colour stands for. Now it’s your turn to draw cards. Use the deck without the Champion cards.

  • Review the preparation exercises before shuffling.
  • Draw 1 card and fold over.
  • Turn the card over. Take a look at the card and review what the colours stand for.
  • Look up the card, the brochure on the website, and read the text.
  • Connect your interpretation of the card with how you feel and the tasks / challenges ahead.
  • Let this energy guide you into the day.

Now you have begun to interpret and experience the cards in your own way. You have begun to reflect colours on your well-being and your challenges / tasks. Then the next thing is to connect more cards together.

  • Review the preparation exercises.
  • Put the champions back into the deck.
  • Shuffle the cards and draw two cards face down.
  • Turn the first card – look at the colours, read the text and interpret as you are used to.
  • Turn the second card and do the same.
  • Now try to find a connection between these cards and create a connection – keep an eye on your reactions. What moves you? Does any memory arise? Do you get an idea?

Week 4 – days 22-28

  • Same routine as week 3 except now you add the third card.
  • Draw 3 cards and lay them face down.
  • Turn over the first card and then cards 2 and 3 and find your connection between these cards.

By the end of week 4, you have been practising spiritual training for 28 days. Keep giving yourself this time, keep trying, and find your way.

Meditation has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, sharpen focus and increase mental strength. Meditation has been an important addition to the general training of athletes and high achievers for years.

You can ask questions and with the help of the cards find answers inside you.

With regular use, the cards become more and more accessible and useful. It is a certain art to read from cards and it takes time to train skills. You gradually start to think deeper and beyond the box. It can sometimes be uncomfortable to go to unfamiliar places, but it is the only way to grow stronger and stronger.

Remember that it is with the mind like parachutes, they work best when open.

Last but not least – the magic lives inside you, the cards help you bring it out.

What you pay attention to grows and thrives!
