Cards are one of the oldest, most widespread forms of entertainment around the world and are used for many reasons, not just for play. They are also used for predicting the future, for looking for hidden answers about our present (called divination) and for developing psychological or spiritual qualities to help us lead better lives (for mental training)
We hope that Champion cards help you change your mindset and you will be more successful, find a better balance and that they will be useful and fun for you in every way. The deck contains 49 cards in 7 colours for each suit. The cards reflect the colours of the rainbow and each colour (numbered from 1-7) has a frequency in the spectrum of light. So red has the lowest frequency gradually increasing with orange, yellow, green, turquoise, indigo and finally purple which has the highest frequency of the colours we use.
In the same way, each suit of cards refers to your own physical and mental rainbow of frequencies. The lower the frequency, the denser the subject. For example, your physical being, your body is the densest and is symbolised by red, Orange is less dense and symbolises energy and yellow is your power. These T
three can be viewed as a group of your three lower frequencies.
The fourth suit is green and symbolises the balance between your lower and higher frequencies.
The last group are your three higher frequencies. Turquoise is harmony, indigo is focus and purple is intuition. As you can see, these three are much less tangible characteristics than the first three. You can't touch them or feel them but you can experience them. You can look at these colours as the spectrum of abilities you have and can use to improve your skills both in sport as in life in general.
Each card has 2 numbers, the first number refers to the background and the second to the image in the foreground. The cards are either Player cards or Champion cards. The Champion cards have the same colour in both the background and the foreground. Each Player card is twofold and represents qualities for optimal development as both an athlete and as an individual. When interpreting the cards and reading the message, it is equally important to pay attention to the colours.
There are many ways to lay the cards. You choose the method that suits you best, but before you draw a card, take a moment for yourself, calm down and draw out if there is something special that you are thinking about - any question or topic. Listen to your reaction when you see the card. Do you get any particular feeling? Does a memory popup? An idea?
We strongly recommend that you use the cards regularly. Each card has a meaning, but what it is at any given time depends on your interpretation. The same card can have a different meaning, but what that meaning ultimately is, is up to you. The same card can mean different things at different times in your life. That's why it's important to use the cards regularly so you can study them and integrate their meaning.
The ultimate purpose of the cards is to enjoy them. The more you want to learn about yourself, the deeper you can dive.
There´s a bonus, too. Using the cards like we´ve suggested is a form of contemplative practice which you can use anytime, anywhere. And practices like contemplation and meditation have been shown to help athletes in reducing stress and anxiety. In strengthening concentration, in developing deeper focus, in dealing with pain, in controlling emotions and in boosting the immune system. This isn't just talk - it´s training regiments of sports teams and sports legends for years.
Finally, remember this: the magic is within you, not in the cards. The cards only serve as triggers to bring that magic out!
