How important would you say your body is to you? Pretty important, right? Yes, it is. As the Champion of Strength, I’m here to remind you to take very good care of it and to understand what it is and what it is not.
When you’re exercising and building your strength, what you’re technically doing is increasing your capacity to hold energy. Like a battery. The more you exercise, the larger your battery becomes and the more energy you can hold. You still need to charge the battery with energy. Then, when you discharge that energy, you get power.
Energy is recharged and growth hormones (needed to build strength) secreted when the body is in a deep relaxed state. Being calm and receptive is therefore just as important as being active and excited. Watching television or being on your phone is not being calm and receptive, but good sleep and meditation is.
My element is EARTH, represented by the rock. Strong, solid and stable upon which everything stands.
Drawing my card should remind you to take good care of your body. Eat food full of vitality and nutrients. Exercise, stretch and rest. Failing to listen to your body can have dire consequences. One big rock is a mountain. And mountains are impressive!
