Trees that are too stiff, break. The ones that bend, survive.Without flexibility, we become brittle and break easily. By becoming flexible, we last longer. This applies to our muscles and joints and to our minds as well. Learn to be flexible on and off the pitch and last longer, without breaking!
Being flexible is one of the most important parts of your training to prevent injuries. It means regular stretching; even yoga can help! But it’s more than just your body. Being flexible means being ready, being prepared for whatever comes, adapting quickly to changing circumstances on the pitch. And that means bending when you need to bend, holding when you need to hold. Real stability is flexibility!
